Holden Beach West is a community located on the private west end of the island. Though it is not a gated community, there is a guardhouse at the entrance. From some areas of Holden Beach West, you can see neighboring Ocean Isle Beach.  Holden Beach West is a quiet community with minimal traffic, Holden Beach West is ideal for bicycling. In addition, because of the unique location on the end of the island, many homes offer views of both the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.  

Finally, Pointe West is a private Holden Beach neighborhood located on the Intracoastal Waterway. Pointe West has a friendly neighborhood feeling with private walking trails, beach accesses and more. Its location on the Intracoastal Waterway offers amazing water views from many homes. Though you are unable to see the ocean from many homes in this community, you can still enjoy a short walk to the beach from Pointe West.
